The 2017 season of MasterChef Australia is coming soon and is set to showcase Australia's best home cooks, as they compete for a much-coveted place in the iconic series' kitchen.
In what promises to be the most extraordinary season ever, the top 24 contestants will take part in some of the biggest challenges ever seen.
This season the contestants will create some mind-blowing dishes including floating ice-cream created by dessert queen Christy Tania. The punk princess of pastry Anna Polyviou delivers her monumental firecracker dessert (image left and attached), which is certain to push our home cooks to the limit, and an incredible edible glasshouse showcases immense new talent.
It's a season jam-packed with booming flavours and delicious dishes.
MasterChef Australia judges Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston and George Calombaris are back to share their own unique talent and insights with the newest bunch of contestants. Encouraging and challenging, they will push the contestants to cook smarter, extend their creativity and overcome obstacles in ways they never dreamt possible.
Celebrated chef Shannon Bennett reprises his role as guest mentor for the immunity challenges, determined to give away more immunity pins than last year.
